Description
These crispy Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos are tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce and served with crunchy toppings in warm tortillas. A quick and easy weeknight meal ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- For the Shrimp: 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined), ½ cup all-purpose flour, 2 eggs (beaten), 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper
- For the Bang Bang Sauce: ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp sriracha, 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp honey
- For the Tacos: 8 tortillas, 1 cup shredded cabbage, ½ cup shredded carrots, ½ cup cilantro, 1 avocado (sliced), lime wedges
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, and honey to make the sauce.
- Warm the tortillas and assemble with cabbage, carrots, shrimp, avocado, and sauce.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and corn tortillas for a gluten-free version.
